@deadpool-0016 Holy ramblings of an incoherent 2nd Grader. Please refrain from posting unless you run it by your English teacher first. As an English as my first language person, I'm appalled by your use of our language. Please stop!
The fact that the SpatialOS is behind this (which does things differently - in a more "modern" way), it SHOULD theoretically be better, IF the technology works as advertised. So, we should expect definitely better netcode communication & lag compensation in this game compared to other [more clasically architectured] systems.
BUT, and this is a big one, this is only just one piece of the whole puzzle. Just having better lag compensation doesn't mean anything at all on its own, if you ask me.
these sorts of polls are interesting. my musings:
TPP is inherently more casual, appeals to casual/laidback players, and due to devotion/typical personality differences, these casual players won't have as strong opinions on the matter compared to competitive/FPP/elite gamers
As such, the numbers of people to even to open this sort of topic will be highly skewed towards FPP players. If you're a casual TPP player, and you really don't care/are sick of the flaming/controversy posts about TPP, you likely won't even open this topic
having multiple modes tpp/fpp fragments the player base. even pubg couldn't maintain both modes in a lot of regions. it's best to have one or the other. if the game is for casuals, go TPP. if the game is designed for competitive/elite/ELO style, then go FPP
@Agent6-0001 I talk about Mavericks all the time within my many BR circle and MMOFPS circles. I think I may be directly responsible for at least 16 preorders as those that I've exposed them to confessed that they've purchased the game. Let those that are hired to advertise, to advertise within accordance with Mavericks Advertisement Campaign.
Not to be offensive but, (and please do not take this as an offensive post) of the few posts that I have seen coming from your keyboard, I get the impression that you are seriously trying to influence the Devs to provide existential treatment to streamers over everyone else. Especially your fandom representation of 'The Doc' and (Fan)Shroud.
I would rather see a solid alpha/beta state of the game than any form of it neglected for the sake of the impatience of founders and streamers who feel that developing a game is taking too long.
Just my opinion. Again, dont take offense as I dont mean to be offensive.
iirc solos have 400 players and 5 mans have 1000 players. seeing as how many people are interested in the game before it even launches, it should be pretty easy to fill games up. if i had to guess you will probably open a menu while you are inside the game in the main mmorpg area to q for a game. ranking systems all depend on how many people are playing and how many are playing at each rank, if they scale it right it shouldnt be that much of a problem. the reason why league games for example can take a long time to q in high elo is because there is an incredibly small percentage of players in that rank. 70-75% of people are within bronze and silver, which are the 2 lowest ranks
